Alex and Richard’s autumnal wedding at the stunning Hazlewood Castle near York was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

The day began with Alex getting ready at her parents home and Richard at his parents, both were surrounded by her closest friends and family. The atmosphere was a delightful mix of excitement and nerves as Alex slipped into her elegant gown, with her mum offering final touches before the big reveal.

The couple exchanged their vows in a heartfelt ceremony at St Paul’s Church in Birkenshaw. The historic church, adorned with autumnal floral arrangements, provided a romantic setting for their special moment. As the couple said their “I dos,” with family and friends witnessing their promises of forever.

After the ceremony, the celebrations continued at Hazlewood Castle. The venue’s grand architecture and beautiful gardens made the perfect backdrop for their reception.

The autumnal hues of the season made for a great backdrop for their stunning family portraits.

The celebrations continued into the evening with heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and dancing under the castle’s twinkling lights. Alex and Richard’s autumn wedding was nothing short of enchanting, with every detail reflecting their personalities and love story.

As twilight descended, the couple stepped outside for a magical photo session. To add a dramatic flair to the evening, wire wool spinning created a spectacular display of cascading sparks, resulting in stunning, artistic photographs that truly captured the spirit of the night.
