How long will you be at our wedding?

That depends on the collection you choose and how your Owston Hall day is structured, but most couples have us from the final stages of bridal prep right through to the first dance and beyond. If your timings shift on the day, we simply roll with it.

On the Wedding Day

What should we do if the weather is bad on our wedding day?

Owston Hall is one of the easiest venues to work with in poor weather. The ornate interiors, covered entrance and sheltered terraces give us plenty of dry options for portraits and groups, and overcast skies actually produce gorgeous soft light on the parkland. We have shot here in every season and always come away with a full, beautiful gallery.

How do you organise family group photos?

Calmly and quickly. We agree your group list with you in advance, then on the day we gather everyone efficiently, usually wrapping the formal groups within 20 to 30 minutes, so you can get back to your guests and the drinks reception.

Will you be intrusive during our wedding?

No. Most of the day we work quietly in the background, and couples regularly say they barely noticed us. The only time we step forward is to gather people for group shots or to whisk you away for ten minutes of portraits by the lake.

After the Wedding

When will we receive our wedding photos?

Your finished gallery is normally ready within 2 to 3 weeks of the wedding. Every image is individually edited, and you receive a private online gallery you can share with family and friends and download from in full resolution.

How many photos will we receive?

It varies with coverage, but most Owston Hall weddings end up with several hundred fully edited, high-resolution images covering the whole story of the day.
