Bride and groom prep

Laura got ready at Tankersley Manor with her bridesmaids, Alison, Lydia, Hannah, Charlotte and her sister Amy and also her parents Catherine & Mark, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The girls then jumped into matching gleaming white Jags to get to the ceremony. To say the heavens opened during the transfer would be an understatement. Tom got ready at his parents with his best man Jonny, ushers Oliver & Thawley and parents, Bev & John. They travelled to the ceremony after a quick nip of whiskey.

The ceremony

The ceremony was in the same church Lauras parents were married, a stunning church in Penistone. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading. It was such a personal service and so emotional.

The reception

The reception was in the Tankersley Suite at Tankersley Manor Hotel.  It was a beautiful classic wedding. I love shooting Tankersley Manor weddings because it’s always got such a great atmosphere. I have been shooting weddings at Tankersley Manor for over 10 years and am proud to be their recommend photographer.

They had a drinks reception and lovely canapés in the afternoon, and we provided a Photo Booth in the evening. They decorated the venue with Beauty and the Beast inspired flower domes and rustic log slices..

For dinner they had a roast dinner, which was loved by all the guests. The first dance played by their live band, and they finished off the evening with sparklers.

The couple

Laura wore a stunning dress and Tom wore a stylish blue and grey 3 piece suit and they looked so dapper. Laura’s dress was provided by Jane at Celebrating Curves Bridal and Tom’s new Tag Hueer watch bought by his bride as a wedding present went perfectly with his suit.
