Summer Weddings

Its wet, dark and miserable outside. So I thought I would share a few summer wedding photos with a bit of a vintage feel to them.

Ozzie - Nice images Tim, needed that to remind me of the summer months

Carlton Towers Wedding

One of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. Deanna & John had been married for decades and seeing them still so much in love at their vow renewal surrounded by their children, grandchildren and friends was really heart warming.

The fantatsic surroundings of Carlton Towers near Selby was a great setting for the wedding reception, and I have to say the food was yummy 😉

Craiglands Wedding Ilkley

Gemma & Ian were married at Holy Trinity Church Skipton Before their reception at The Craiglands Hotel Ilkley.

I had first met Gemma & Ian at a wedding fair before going to see them at their house. It was during this meeting that we first …discussed the tarn behind the hotel and how great it would be to go there for some bridal portraits. I will never forget Gemma saying “unless it’s absolutely tipping it down we ARE going up there!!!” I love these sort of couples who put importance on making time for photographs and put some thought into the things they like and want.

After a really hard week doing jury duty, it was a delight to photograph such a fantastic couple and Gemma did look absolutely stunning.

After church, we took a quick detour to the Cow & Calf rocks for some pictures before rushing back to The Craiglands, then up to the tarn.
